In today's competitive world, many families find it necessary for both parents to go to work. While some say that the children in these families benefit from the additional income, others feel they lack support because of parents' absence. What are your opinions on this?
There are widely differing views on the issue of whether both parents should secure employment. Some people argue that parental absence gives rise to the problem that children may feel they have a lack of support. However, I believe that double income families secure children's life financially and cultivate their independence.
To begin with, children from dual income families provided with adequate financial support. In my country, the past few decades have witnessed increasing prices of food and other life necessities. Thus, with increasing family expenditure, children are not only be provided with sufficient food and clothing, but also fancy toys and books that they are interested in. Moreover, if family income is higher, parents can afford to send their children to private schools or even universities in addition to an array of courses to improve their foreign language skills. Additionally, children may have chances to travel abroad and which can broaden their horizons. Furthermore, children's independence is cultivated if both of their parents have full-time jobs. They may be able to take care of themselves and even perform some housework duties. For instance, when parents are absent, they could learn to do laundry, tidy up rooms and even cook simple dishes. These skills ssist thembecoming more independent if they have to go to other cities for further education.
Nonetheless, those who detract from this argument believe that finances are less imperative than spiritual factors, since children could feel lonely and forgotten and they couldbecome involved in a diverse number of malevolent deeds such as taking drugs and joining gangsters. However, specific school sessions and appropriate monitoring can prevent these negative behaviors. Thus, I believe that the drawbacks of both parents going to work are immediately dwarfed because of the advantages it can bring about.
In conclusion, I believe that children can benefit from families with a double income in the aspect of sufficient financial support and self-independence. Although this point view seems to have a few demerits, they can be tackled with practical measures.
