I hate commercial breaks especially those long and boring ones which totally ruin my mood of watching TV. But there was one commercial which impressed me so much that I realized advertisement could be artistic and inspiring enjoyment. It’s a shampoo advertisement telling a story of how a little dumb girl with long and black hair like a waterfall of black silk learn to play violin. She was poor and often bullied by another rich girl in her class. Encouraged by an old and dumb violin street performer, she persisted in playing the violin and entered for a classical music contest. The rich girl grudges her talent and had her violin smashed. To our great inspiration that she didn’t give up and draw back, she appeared with her broken violin on the contest stage at the last moment and stunned the audience with her arresting performance and got a long-time standing ovation. Finally the tag line shows,” You Can Shine” with the girl’s beautiful hair flying upwards in the soul-stirring music of Canon. The sign language of the old performer" Why do you have to be like others?" has already clarified the theme of the story: No matter how lowborn you are, you can shine. The marvelous music and the picture of cocoon-break into a butterfly are both phenomenal.  I have to tell you I was really moved and for the sake of the touching story, I’d love to buy a bottle of that Shampoo and give it a warm try.
